MKI Supreme - Tonebender MK1 germanium fuzz
MKI Supreme series is my attempt to make us feel back in '65 hearing fuzz sound for the first time ever. Tonebender MKI tuned for primitive obscene filth with lots of compression and grit. Tuned for pronounced dirty midrange and not too heavy on bottom-end, so it's perfect for humbuckers use without making it choke/squish too much, or for really tight bite from single coils attack. Sings and sustains when you need it to, but it's rather more happy to spit in your face. It lets note fade down naturally, then gates with gorgeous, crackling artifacts. Output volume is reasonably conservative so it's easy to set level control high, what yields in a fatter overall tone without too much ear-piercing trebles.
Built as original with all the good stuff including Philips OC75 and Texas Instruments transistors combo for the gorgeous classic tone - this batch comes with 2g377 plus 2g306. Also spotting new old stock Sprague and Philips capacitors, PRP resistors for good look, hand-cut vintage phenolic board and 60s construction, heavy duty hardware etc.
This standard enclosure version doesn't let the famous bacon-frying sizzle (which is present in wedge version).
Please note if you're outside of UE, pedal will be shipped without battery.
